Cylinder testing

Anyone who has given cylinders to Gerry for testing, they are now back at the club ready for collection.  If Gerry is not at the club tonight please make sure you retain the tag on your cylinder so as to avoid confusion when paying your bill.

It was planned to have an open forum this coming Thursday 24th March, but due to the number of Try-dives that day and also the theory lesson programme it has been decided to postpone it to a later date.

Workday

A huge thank you to all those who turned up Saturday and helped to transform the clubhouse.  nearly all the painting was completed and the ladies toilets were stripped out and rebuilt.  still a bit of work to do there but all the main structural work was completed.

Farne Islands rescue

During the August Bank Holiday dive, at the Farne Islands, Kingston & Elmbridge became involved in the rescue of an adult male diver from another organisation and his 12 year old son, who were diving with an instructor.  This quickly became a major rescue when the adult male stopped breathing and his instructor called for help.  [...]
