An unconventional Dive briefing
This year’s club dive holiday to the Red Sea saw our club occupying two livaboards for the Northern wrecks and reefs safari: “Whirlwind” and “Typhoon”. This image was taken from the whiteboard on the Whirlwind’ — It has to be one of the more unconventional briefings that we saw during the week!
Medas Madness 2006
The diving and the debauchery from the clubs annual pilgrimage to Spain.
An Oban Adventure
After a 10-hour trip in the happy bus, we finally arrived at our destination, Oban. Oban is situated on the North West of Scotland; a few hours drive outside Glasgow.
Our hosts for the week were Puffin divers based just outside of Oban in Port Gallanach….
Bergen and beyond
On a notable Saturday 2nd July, 11 of us met at Gatwick airport to travel to Bergen on the south west coast of Norway for a weeks diving organized by Jo Eaton.

Wrecks and getting wrecked!
This year’s club holiday to the Red Sea

The video features underwater footage of Yorlanda Reef, The Carnatic, The Thistlegorm (stern section), Rosalie Moller and the Chrisoula K.
The 15-minute video should stream (play while loading), but I [...]
A Shark Tale
Myself, Paul Eyden, Andy Ethell & Shirley Deluce decided to take leave from the Christmas shopping and cold weather for a weeks holiday diving the Brother Islands in the Red Sea the week before Christmas. We were joined by 16 other divers from different clubs all over the country, with some of them even coming [...]
On top of the world – Val D’Isere 2006
Without a doubt, Val d’isere is certainly one of my favourite ski resorts, I’ve been there about 10 times now, which is why I had no hesitation in booking on Gerry’s Trip again.
