Don’t bother having dinner on Thursday 19th August. Because it’s our annual club barbecue and there will be sausages and burgers to be scoffed from 8pm – Bring your family!

Mark your diary. The date for 2010’s DiverSE conference is Sunday 14th March 2010
I recommend everyone consider going to this, I really enjoyed last years’ conference with author and explorer Monty Halls and technical diving guru Jack Ingle speaking. I have no information yet as to what 2010’s line-up will be, but there is always something to interest.

Success of Kingston & Elmbridge BSAC’s 54th Annual Dinner Dance

I am very pleased to report that we held an extremely successful 54th Annual Dinner Dance on Saturday at the Preston Cross Hotel.
Everyone really enjoyed themselves and the hotel bent over backwards to supply us with superb food and first class service.

Upcoming Guildford BSAC events

Guildford BSAC would invite local BSAC branches to join them on Friday 20th November for a talk on Underwater Photography from acclaimed photographer Martin Davies (Southsea BSAC DO) and on Friday December 11th for a talk by Technical Diver Mark Powell on the latest theories and practice in decompression.

Christmas Party

Our club Xmas Party will be held in the clubhouse on Thursday 17th December. 8pm onwards. This is free to all members and their guests. Children are welcome. There will be the usual Xmas fayre including turkey and mince pies.
