Polish Simmered Carp

Bored with the same old crab/lobster/scallop bounty from your dive weekend? Well, dive in some fresh water and give this a go.

Serves Two.


You need:
1 x 3-4lb Carp (cleaned and ready to cook)
2 x tbsp butter
3 x Garlic Cloves
6 x Onions (sliced)
6 x Carrots (sliced)
Sprinkling of raisins, salt and pepper

Instructions:
Clean and wash carp.
Cut it into sections and season with salt and pepper
Place fish, sliced carrots, onion, butter and raisins in a deep saucepan.
Add water to cover
Simmer until tender.
