Uncle Al’s Chessington Steaks
Fed up with fish? Got a Giraffe in the freezer you don’t know what to do with? Well read this. If you don’t have a Giraffe I expect you can use some beef instead, or in fact anything at all. Bet you are all glad Uncle (Blumenth)Al is back.
* 1 small barrel of Fullers London Pride
* 4 Giraffe Steaks
* 4 tomatoes (peeled)
* 1 tbsp red wine
For the steak marinade
* Some marjoram, thyme, cracked black pepper and vegetable oil
Also (that Uncle Al faithful) french sticks (x2)
## Do this
Slurp the London Pride at your leisure. Place the steaks side by side in a large dish, coat with the marinade and set aside for 6 hours in a fridge. Before cooking, season steaks with salt and pepper, then sear them in a hot pan and grill for a few minutes as you like them. Put them on a warm plate. Add the tomatoes to the same pan and cook in the steak juices with the wine. Transfer to a serving plate. Serve with new potatoes and sour cream and french bread. Finish the London Pride.
